Tera in Action: From Business Question to Customer Insight

September 30, 2026 | Virtual

Traditional AI agents are often designed for a specific task, but real enterprise work is more complex. It requires business domain expertise and the ability to recover from failures, adapt as new information becomes available, and connect information across systems.

Tera is the agentic coworker created for enterprise data work. It combines an intelligent agent harness, specialized Teradata skills, MCP connectivity, and governed enterprise context to understand what users want to accomplish and complete multistep data and AI work.

In this live demo, we’ll use a customer satisfaction use case to show how Tera can start with a business objective and help users explore data, perform analysis, and uncover actionable insights. We’ll also demonstrate the different ways skills can be created and added in Tera, then use a pre-built skill to illustrate how reusable guidance can enable more focused analysis.

You’ll see how:

  • Tera transforms a natural-language business question into a multi-step analysis across relevant enterprise data
  • Tera dynamically selects and orchestrates tools to discover data, inspect schemas, execute queries, and analyze results
  • The different ways skills can be created and added in Tera, including guided creation, manual configuration, and uploading existing skills
  • Pre-built skills provide reusable instructions and domain-specific guidance to enable more focused and repeatable analysis
  • Users can build on initial findings to investigate customer experience issues in greater depth and uncover actionable business insights
